MISSION STATEMENT– To initiate, encourage, co-ordinate and support the development of artistic projects and activities in Enderby & District for the benefit of the public, and to provide opportunities for the community to be educated in the work of artists in our community, and to bring to the attention of the municipal and provincial agencies the cultural needs of our community.
Our volunteer arts council strives to support a culturally rich community in which the arts can develop and flourish. It registered as a non-profit society in December of 1991.
Our Events include Music by the River summer concert series, workshops, art shows, street performers, by-monthly sing-a-long at the Enderby Arts Centre, and ongoing sales at the Enderby Emporium supporting local artisans, crafters, and artists, Coffee House Open Mic, as well as public art (murals, sculptures).
The Enderby & District Arts Council acknowledges support and encouragement from The City of Enderby, the Province of British Columbia through the B.C. Arts Council and the ArtsBC/The Assembly of B.C. Arts Councils, and public and private donationsÂ
