COVID 19 UPDATE: THE SMALL AXE is sorry to announce that the kid’s entertainment has been cancelled due to the escalation of Covid-19 cases worldwide and within the province.
Liz Blair will be performing outside entertainment after 6:30 and there will still be an adults costume contest. Before 6:30 there may be some live readings and open mic, but this will be on a ‘we will see’ basis.
ALL EVENTS BELOW ARE CANCELLED
Live music, ‘face’ painting, candy, haunted gingerbread houses, Kiki the elf, story time by a local author and after all is said and done.
It almost sounds like a normal Halloween!
It isn’t, but it is guaranteed to be a lot of fun. Hosted by The Small Axe and endorsed by EDAC, there will only be room for 50 at this event and safety precautions will be taken!
Starting around 1230, the party begins as a family fun alternative to trick-or-treating. Music is oriented to the kids and everyone is encouraged to dress in costume! Apple cider is included in the price of admission and so are take home candy bags for each of the kids. Admission is by donation!
Around 6 open mic begins and along with it a transition to time for the grown ups. Admission is on a limited first come, first serve basis!
